Title: Part-Time LOA Administrator (Remote)

Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based talent only)

Payrate: $25–$30/hour

Duration: Temporary with potential to convert to permanent

Hours: Up to 20 hours/week | Flexible schedule within your time zone

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the trusted first point of contact for all employee leave inquiries and requests
  • Administer and track comprehensive leave programs including FMLA, personal, medical, and statutory leaves
  • Guide employees and managers through the complete leave lifecycle with empathy and expertise
  • Coordinate seamless leave intake processes, including the Interactive Process requirements
  • Ensure bulletproof compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, especially California leave laws
  • Partner with Total Rewards and Payroll teams to coordinate disability benefits and leave pay
  • File employer portions of state and disability claims while assisting employees with their applications
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and case management within Workday HRIS
  • Support smooth return-to-work processes, leave extensions, and ongoing communication updates


What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of hands-on leave administration experience across multiple U.S. states, including California
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related employment laws
  • Proven experience with Workday HRIS for leave tracking and case management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a compassionate approach
  • Detail-oriented mindset with ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion
  • Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and independent work capabilities
  • Understanding of multi-state leave compliance requirements and regulations


Bonus Points If You Have:

  • PHR, SHRM, or other HR certifications
  • Experience with SaaS or technology company environments
  • Background in disability benefits coordination
  • Knowledge of state-specific leave laws beyond California
  • Experience with return-to-work accommodation processes
  • Customer service background in sensitive situations
