Title: Learning Platforms Producer / Project Manager

Payrate: $70/hr

Location: Hybrid (Santa Clara County, CA)

Duration: 7-month assignment

Schedule: Full-time


Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Learning Platforms Producer / Project Manager to support the day-to-day operations and future evolution of a global learning ecosystem. This role is critical in maintaining platform stability while also leading the tactical execution of a large-scale Learning Management System (LMS) migration and rollout.

This position directly impacts the learning experience of more than 80,000 users across Retail Stores and Retail Customer Care globally. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in ambiguity, brings strong project management discipline, and upholds high-quality standards across all deliverables.


What You’ll Do

Platform Operations & Maintenance

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for platform issues, escalations, and content-related questions
  • Support content creators by troubleshooting publishing issues and validating learning content prior to release
  • Manage day-to-day publishing workflows while balancing competing business priorities
  • Compile, analyze, and report platform usage data and system health metrics to leadership

Project Management & LMS Migration

  • Own detailed project plans, timelines, and trackers for the migration to a new LMS and client experience
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test cases, logging defects, validating fixes, and partnering with technical teams
  • Assist in defining system requirements that support scalability, usability, and intuitive user experience
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including platform playbooks, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures
  • Partner with Store Operations, field teams, and global stakeholders to support rollout strategy and change management

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 3–5+ years of experience in digital project management, platform operations, or learning technology
  • Deep familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS); migration experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Radar, Keynote)
  • Technical aptitude and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements; familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including the ability to identify UX, logic, or content issues
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and resilience in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Collaborative, positive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and partner cross-functionally
