People Operations Specialist

W2 Contract 4 Months

We are a health technology company that uses artificial intelligence to track, analyze, and map real-world patient data. We help life sciences, payers, and providers reduce disease burden by improving clinical trial design, identifying care gaps, and optimizing market strategies. We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team for 4 months.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Immigration Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and external immigration counsel. You will facilitate the collection of documentation, track case statuses, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Workday Management: Execute employee data changes within Workday with high accuracy. This includes processing transfers, supervisor changes, and maintaining sensitive worker profile data, auditing
  • Jira Ticket Management: Monitor and resolve HR inquiries via Jira. You will ensure all tickets are addressed within established SLAs with a focus on "white-glove" employee service.
  • Offboarding Execution: Manage the administrative life cycle of departing employees, ensuring all compliance steps are met and systems are updated accordingly.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in HR Operations and Immigration Coordination 
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Workday (HCM) and Jira (Service Management) is highly preferred.
  • Time Zone Alignment: Ability to work a set schedule of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST daily.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining complex immigration or policy details to employees.
  • Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism.
