Job Title: Production Technician I – Print Services (2nd shift)

Location: Irvine, CA ( onsite – local candidates only)

Pay Rate: $24.50/hour ( Weekly pay + Medical Benefits)

Contract Duration: 1yr contract ( Excellent potential for extension)

Shift: Second Shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)

 

Training Schedule: First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) for the initial four weeks, prior to transitioning to second shift

Role Overview

The Production Technician I is an individual contributor role within the Print Services department. This position supports Packaging operations by producing printed materials such as stock cards and labels using commercial printing and cutting equipment. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and accurate documentation within a regulated production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform printing, cutting, and collating of eIFU stock cards and various types of labels.
  • Conduct in-process and final quality inspections of stock cards and labels.
  • Complete, review, and maintain quality documentation, process orders, and batch records in compliance with GDP requirements.
  • Execute moderately complex inventory and quality transactions within the SAP Inventory System.
  • Assemble and organize required paperwork for production batch records.
  • Support day-to-day Print Services operations and assist with additional departmental tasks as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mid-level production or manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and quality standards.
  • Experience working with insert cards, stock cards, or labels.
  • Experience with quality documentation, inspection processes, and GDP.
  • Familiarity with commercial printers, cutters, and related software (Fiery preferred).
  • Experience using SAP or similar inventory/production systems.
  • Must pass background and drug test


Work Environment

  • Manufacturing / production setting within a Print Services department.
  • Hands-on role requiring attention to quality, documentation, and production timelines.
  • Position begins on first shift for training, then transitions to second shift.
